Moves rarely run on a perfect schedule. The sale closes a week early, the new place is not ready, or a renovation drags on longer than anyone planned. When the dates do not line up, you should not have to scramble. That is what our storage solutions are for.
Storage as part of your move
We are upfront about how this works. Andersen Moving does not own a warehouse. What we do is provide storage as a service by working with trusted storage facilities, so we can pick up, hold and redeliver your belongings as one smooth process. You deal with us, not a separate storage company, and your furniture is handled by the same careful crew throughout.
While your belongings are stored, they stay padded and wrapped, just as they were when they left your home.
A bridge between two homes
The most common reason people need storage is timing. You are out of the old place before you are into the new one, and your furniture needs somewhere to go in between. We load it, store it and bring it back when you are ready, then set it up at your new home.
It also works for staging. If you are selling and need rooms cleared out to show the home at its best, we can move the excess into storage and return it after closing. Tell us your timeline when we give you an estimate, and we will build the storage piece right into the plan.

- Does Andersen Moving own a storage warehouse?
- We do not run our own warehouse. We provide storage as part of our moving service by working with trusted storage facilities. That lets us bridge the gap in your move without you having to coordinate a separate storage company yourself.
- When would I need moving storage?
- It comes up a lot. Your closing dates may not line up, a renovation may run long, or you may be staging a home for sale and need furniture out of the way. Storage gives you a place for your belongings until the timing works.
- How long can my belongings stay in storage?
- Storage can be short term to cover a gap of a few days or longer if your situation calls for it. Tell us your timeline when we put together your estimate and we will plan around it.
