A local move sounds simple until moving day, when the couch will not clear the doorway and the truck shows up two hours late. We built Andersen Moving to take that stress off your plate. We are a family run crew based on the Treasure Coast, and most of the moves we do every week are right here in town.
We treat short moves like they matter
Moving across town is not an excuse to get sloppy. Your furniture still gets padded and wrapped, your floors still get covered, and your boxes still land in the right rooms. The drive may be ten minutes, but the care is the same as a move across the state.
That means dressers get shrink wrapped so drawers stay shut, glass and mirrors get extra padding, and beds and tables come apart and go back together without you lifting a finger.
One crew, start to finish
You will not get handed off between strangers. The people who load your truck are the people who unload it, so nothing gets lost in translation. We keep crews tight, communicate clearly, and keep the whole move moving so you are not paying for wasted time.
When the truck pulls away from your old place, the only thing left behind should be the floor protection we are rolling up on our way out.

- How much does a local move cost on the Treasure Coast?
- Local moves are usually priced by the crew and hours involved. The size of your home, the amount of furniture and any stairs or long carries all factor in. We give you a free estimate up front so you know the number before we start.
- Do you move apartments and condos?
- Yes. We move studios, apartments, condos and houses. For buildings with elevators, loading docks or HOA time windows, just let us know and we plan the move around the rules.
- How far ahead should I book?
- Weekends and the end of the month fill up fastest. Booking a couple of weeks out gives you the best pick of dates, but call us anyway if you need something sooner.
